Saint Francis International School is open to children of all backgrounds, we highly value diversity of culture, language, religion and all other forms of diversity.
Registration for the upcoming school year typically takes place in the winter and spring. Students will continue to be accepted through the fall as space permits.
It is our preference that preschool students begin the school year as a class in the fall, however we will accept new students throughout the school year pending an interview with the principal.
Transfer students are welcome throughout the school year pending a review of previous school records and an interview with the principal.

Step 1 - Come and see what our community has to offer
The best way to learn about Saint Francis International School is like is to come to one of our open houses and take a tour. All open houses will take place at our St. Camillus Campus

Step 2 - Complete the application process online
Complete and online application for each child that you would like to register for school. Our application form asks for important information about your child and family. This information is very important to us, it helps us to obtain government aid and private grants, so please fill the application out completely. If you have questions, give us a call, we'll be glad to help. When the application process is complete you will be asked to pay your $50 non-refundable application fee (you will be able to make your payment online by check or credit card).
Step 3 - Complete the financial aid application online
Financial assistance is available from two primary sources (the school financial assistance fund and the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington). These funds are distributed based on financial need and available to families regardless of religion.
A completed Financail Aid Application is necessary to receive the multiple child grant and to qualify for financial assistance. Financial assistance based on need is not guaranteed and families must apply again each year.

Step 4 - Receive your "Welcome Packet" from the school and complete the enrollment process
Your welcome packet will contain important information to help you get ready for the new school year. In order to make your registration official, you will be asked to go online to your myTADS account to accept your offer of enrollment. The final step to secure your child's spot at SFIS will be to pay your $350 non-refundable tuition deposit. When you complete the enrollment process online you also be given your child's health forms and other forms that must be completed before your child(ren)'s first day of school
Step 5 - Receive the financial aid award decision letter and your tuition agreement (bill)
By the late spring you will receive a letter from the school which details all grants and need-based financial aid that you are being offered for the new school year. The letter will also contain your bill detailing all of your tuition and fees for your entire family. You will need to go online before July 1 to choose your payment option. You can pay your tuition in full before July 1 to receive a $200 per family discount or you can select one of the monthly payment plan options (payment plans require payment of annual service fee)..
Step 6 - Pay your tuition or set up a payment plan
To complete the registration process, families must either pay tuition in full by July 1 or have signed up for a monthly payment plan in order to be fully ready to start on the first day of school in the fall..
Step 7 - Attend your child's orientation
Before the school year begins we will have an orientation session in August to provide you with the opportunity to meet your child(ren)'s teachers, meet other parents, and to get acquainted with the school before the first day. Information about the date and time of the orientation will be included in one of your summer mailings.
